Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher Job at Valentino's Inc

Valentino's is in need of 1 team members to perform the following duties:
- process food deliveries and make them ready for use in finished dishes, this includes washing produce, peeling vegetables, slicing and dicing vegetables
- cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, pots and pans, floors, and equipment
- organizing and maintaining stock levels in storage freezer and refrigerators
- organizing and maintaining stock levels in the kitchen pantry
- packing finished foods and labeling to make them ready for sale in the fresh and frozen food counters
- working with the team as needed to prepare and package take-out and catering orders
Education and experience needed to apply:
- Food handling certificate is required.
- 3 to 5 years kitchen experience not necessary but would be an asset.
- post secondary education that is food related
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
