Craft Coast Canning Ltd. is a mobile craft beverage canning operation that services the Maritime craft beverage market. Our clients include prominent craft beer and cider producers in the region.
We supply cans, packaging materials, brewery chemicals, scientific instruments, and other adjunct materials for craft brewing. In addition to our popular mobile canning service, our other services include graphic design, quality control, co-packaging, laboratory testing, repair & maintenance of packaging equipment, engineering, and consulting services for everyone from small craft breweries to international brands.
About the role
We’re looking for a Warehouse Labourer with a valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract. The candidate must be 19 years old or older in order to ensure the candidate is on our company insurance. They are required to get themselves to and from work. Location
Craft Coast Canning Ltd. is based in Noonan, NB. Although part of our operations is based just outside of Fredericton, we service the entire Maritimes. This position will be based primarily in Craft Coast Canning’s Fredericton, NB warehouse.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing pallets to ship. Split, Wrap pallets with finished goods, and other assembly operations.
  • Regularly deliver materials between warehouse locations using company truck.
  • Load/Unload trucks using a forklift, and pallet jack.
  • Ability to work this the computer as a casual user.
  • Entering in shipment information into the inventory management system
  • Maintain organization of warehouse storage.
  • Assist with monthly/weekly inventory counts.
  • Shipping/Receiving; Keep track of delivered/shipped items and ensure quantity, and quality matches with packing slips.
  • Casual driving within New Brunswick or Nova Scotia. Must be familiar with truck drivers’ duties, i.e. logbook, road scales, daily hours, etc.
  • Assist with packaging orders from the production department.
  • Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
  • Tidying and removing garbage from warehouses.
  • Other warehousing duties as assigned.

Applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (No convictions in the last 5 years)
  • Flexibility with hours and duties, and a willingness to travel.
  • A strong interest in the craft beverage industry.
  • Solid leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in developing technical skills.
  • Experience with a Forklift is an asset.
  • Experience with an inventory management system is an asset.
