MenloLab UI/UX Front-End Developer

We are looking for a qualified Front-End developer to join our team. You will be contributing to the Front-End for a new SaaS tool to handle unique engineering design workflows. In addition, you will work with customers developing unique solutions that visualize and interact with interesting datasets. You should be able to build interfaces into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include generating UI/UX design concepts to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the existing team to bridge the gap between graphical design, front-end behaviour, and backend execution, taking an active role in determining how the front end of the application should function to achieve higher-level goals.

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Maintaining documentation on implementation and process

Skills And Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, experience with React, Angular or Vue is mandatory
• Good understanding of client-side communication standards
• Understanding of layout aesthetics.
• Ability to develop mocks or drafts using modern design tools.
• An understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Basic understanding of software development workflows and Agile concepts
• Experience before education. A related degree, diploma or certificate is recommended but not required

At MenloLab, we value a wide range of experiences. At a minimum, we expect all applicants to demonstrate a reasonable level of proficiency with the technologies described above.

Compensation

Depending on the experience of the applicant, the expected compensation for the DevOps Engineer position will fall between $80,000 and $100,000 with the potential for stock options.
