YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

• Attend a 28-day (2 rotations) training program at the Meadowbank Complex mine site;
• Process Plant Trainee will learn during the training program how to :

• Perform specific tasks such as cleaning (areas/equipment), lock-out/tag-out, and supporting the maintenance team when required;
• Perform daily crushing work, such as inspecting, greasing and operating the crushers and rock breakers;
• Ensure that conveyors, compressors, dust collectors and screens are clear and in good condition, taking action if anomalies are detected;
• Fill reports relating to the work area;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• The employee must succeed all parts of the training to graduate;
• Employees must respect AEM’s policies before and during the program.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Possess the physical requirements to perform the job;
• Possess strong work ethics, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team;
• Experience working in a multicultural environment;
• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written).
• Successfully complete a literacy and numeracy skill assessment;
• Those who successfully complete the program will be hired as full-time permanent Agnico Eagle employees with the Process Plant Department;
• Opportunity reserved for Inuit candidates.
