POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for internal, external and third-party scheduling, but not limited to, creating, up-dating, and coordinating project schedules. Works closely with Solution Services Team Leaders, Client Team Leaders and selected Contractors to build, evaluate and optimize project schedules.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Consults with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.

- Develops, implements, and maintains an effective scheduling management system.

- Coordinates project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.

- Monitors project timelines and deadlines.

- Identifies potential project schedule delays and facilitates intervention in a timely manner.

- Evaluates performance and preparing project progress reports.

- Accommodates updates and changes to project schedules.

- Responsible for actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.

- Keeps all stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.

- Daily reporting to project stakeholders.

- Document project scheduling process and maintains records.

- This is an office and field position.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Bachelor’s Degree in project management, or in a related field.

- Certificate as a PMI scheduling professional an asset.

- Minimum of two years experience as a project scheduler in a related industry.

- Must have all industry related tickets.

- Extensive experience in schedule planning and management

- In-depth knowledge and understanding of scope of projects within the industry.

- Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes

- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines

- Excellent attention to detail

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines
