As Xero continues to grow we are looking for a superstar to join the team on a fixed-term to partner with key business leaders to design and implement learning programs for all Xeros. Our Learning Experience team works to enable Xero employees to develop the knowledge, skill, behaviors and experience they need to achieve their goals and progress their career. This role will partner with the Australia and Asia business in particular to ensure we deliver on regional needs. It will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of Xero learning frameworks, programs, systems and resources.
What you’ll do
- Learning design and delivery:
- Facilitate learning experiences across the business.
- Facilitate online and in person workshops.
- Create learning experience tools and programs to enable Xeros to embed sustainable learning practices for teams, leaders and individuals.
- Design and develop tools that are fit for global needs and for scale.
- Influence and coach Xeros to enhance their career development.
- Support LX Operations/Systems specialist to administer program logistics and records.
- Evaluate, analyze, redevelop and report on learning to key stakeholders.
Partnering/Consulting:- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key Xero stakeholders to communicate our people strategy with credibility and influence.
- Provide significant thought leadership in the areas of people capability, including ‘Great People Leadership’.
- Navigate a complex matrix environment and influence stakeholders on how they can create an environment of sustainable performance.
- Identify business, performance and learning needs (challenges and opportunities) when meeting with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Partner with our Leadership, PX, OD teams to support the delivery of all our learning programs.
- Coach and upskill PX partners on what learning is available and how they can support their stakeholders to use our OD frameworks.
Success looks like
- Learning solutions to meet identified stakeholder needs, meet standards, principles, culture and values of Xero, achieve planned return on investment and attract positive feedback from stakeholders.
- Produce and facilitate superior learning experiences.
- Projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stakeholders are fully engaged, understand the value of solutions and are satisfied with the outcomes.
- Effective working relationships with the Global People Experience team.
What you’ll bring with you

Experience:- Facilitation and presentation skills
- Proven experience in coaching leaders
- Demonstrated experience in designing and developing content
- A passion for creating human-centered experiences that delight end users and that solve business problems
- Experience or a strong understanding in the development of: technical knowledge, skill and experience / leadership and core knowledge, skill and behavior
- A relevant learning qualification (advantage but not essential)
