Cascade Energy Services L.P. is looking for a HSE Coordinator within our Fort McMurray, AB Branch

The Opportunity: HSE Coordinator

Cascade Energy Services LP has an opening for an on-site HSE Coordinator. This position is both physically intensive and safety sensitive. You will be required to work closely with Operations in improving and maintain safety compliance in the day-to-day work. This position will be based out of our Ft. McMurray operations.

Requirements:

- NCSO safety designation

- Knowledge of applicable HSE regulations, codes, practices, and standards

- Advanced proficiency in: Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), ELD and GPS systems, as well as digital safety management systems

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

- Must be capable of demonstrating visible and professional HSE leadership while working with a diverse team of individuals

- Valid training tickets in First Aid, H2S, CSO. Valid driver’s license and clean abstract

- In addition to safety tickets, candidates must consent to prescreening fit and controlled substances testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work scheduled to be 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off

- Act as an HSE leader by promoting the HSE management systems and positive HSE behaviors

- Work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment as well as complete projects independently

- Integrate both Corporate and client HSE systems

- Attend weekly contractor HSE meetings and complete client-initiated reporting

- Complete regular HSE reporting to HSE Director and Sr. Advisor

- Participate / conduct inspections, incident investigations and reporting, formal risk/hazard assessments and HSE audits

- Facilitate and administer Behavior Based safety

- Work with the HSE Team to develop and deliver safety training/awareness initiatives

- Complete new hire onboarding and mentorship

- Assist in maintaining electronic HSE systems and fleet transportation requirements

- Assist with PPE inventory, tracking, distribution, and purchasing
