Our People and Culture Department is looking for a Human Resources Support Assistant 3 to join our hardworking Records Division. This position provides support services to the HRIS division; prepares and maintains People and Culture and payroll source documentation and records; update employee status changes, maintains an organized workflow of processing the full lifecycle of employees (new hire records, transfers, enroll in benefits, separating from the city etc.); provides information and assistance on benefit plans, Municipal Pension Plan, collective agreements, People and Culture policies, procedures and records; prepares, maintains and process a variety of confidential files and records. Performs related work as required.
Grade 12 supplemented by additional courses with 3 years related office experience, preferably in a People and Culture environment is ideal. Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite are required. The successful candidate is able to manage working in a dynamic and fast paced HRIS team. If you want to work with an exceptional group of people, then this is the job for you!
Hours of work: 70 hours bi-weekly; Monday to Friday: 8:00AM to 4:00PM.
Pay Rate: $26.34 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits (2021 Rates)
