Access Communications Co-operative is seeking a creative, talented Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and owning the Access’ Corporate brand standards, designing mass media campaigns and designing internal marketing material.

Main Duties include:

• Designing and assisting in the development and implementation of internal and external marketing and advertising projects, including print material, Internet marketing, advertisements, sales tools and other initiatives. Ensuring all materials and designs conform to brand identity.
• Creating web animations and web graphics for design components and online advertising.
• Designing layouts for broadcast channels, scheduling placement and ensuring their transfer to the on-air system. Working with advertising reps to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
• A portfolio of previous work will be required for the interview.

Competencies for Success:

• Must be a graduate of a graphic design technical program.
• 2 – 3 years of practical working experience in the development of print material using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects are required.
• Working experience with html/css is required.
• Knowledge in the operation of digital photography and video/TV production equipment would be an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and have strong concentration skills as interruptions are regular.
• Clear criminal record check.
