Forklift Operators Needed! $25.50-$26.25/hr Job at Prodigy Personnel
Prodigy Personnel is actively seeking individuals for several Forklift Operator positions for our busy client in Puslinch, ON. Successful candidates will be responsible for operating a Reach or Dockstocker forklift, to move materials in a safe manner through out the warehouse. You will also need to load and unload trailers.
MUST HAVE CURRENT/VALID REACH OR DOCK STOCKER CERTIFICATE.
Shifts:
- Nights 11:00pm-7:00am
- Afternoons 3:00PM - 11:00PM
- Weekends Fri-Sun 7:00am-7:00pm or Sat-Mon 7:00am-7:00pm
* shift premium available for afternoon, weekend and night shift
Responsibilities and Duties
· Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
· RF Scanning
· Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility in cold storage
· Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
· Checking loads are secure
· Stacking empty pallets
· Operate forklift/tow motor in a safe manner
Qualifications and Skills
· Valid Forklift Certification for Reach Truck or Dock Stocker (current/up-to-date)
· Previous Reach Truck or Dock Stocker experience required (minimum 6 months)
· Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated/freezer environment (warm wear PPE provided)
· Must have own form of reliable transportation (location is not on the bus route)
