Our team is looking to add an experienced Production Manager who is hard working, positive and dedicated to our craft. We are looking for an individual that can motivate and oversee our night staff. Crave offers competitive wages, tip out, and DOUGHNUTS of course!

Responsibilities:

• In charge of making doughnuts with team - rolling dough, cutting, frying, filling, decorating/finishing
• Supervise and motivate our small team during the night shift (start time 12am-2am) ensuring that goals are properly communicated and attained.
• Oversee team members and provide direction and support
• Ensure that all doughnuts made meet our Crave standards for quality and portion size.
• Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures including cleaning, sanitation, government regulation and food safety.
• Ensure proper Health & Safety practices are adhered to for efficiency and work safety.
• Create and encourage a team-oriented work environment.
• Actively participate in the ongoing effort to improve business practices.
• Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment.

The Production Manager is expected to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen including making dough, rolling, cutting, proofing, and frying doughnuts.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of related experience in a production/bakery facility or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Good knowledge of kitchen operations, procedures and equipment.
• High personal initiative and problem-solving ability.
• Superior standards of sanitation, cleanliness and food safety.
• Strong team-oriented approach to tasks.
• Positive outlook with a history of proven dependability and commitment.
• Willingness to strictly adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule - night shift/weekends/holidays.
• Required to lift, carry and/or handle heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
• Required to stand for extended periods of time while performing production work.
• Repetitive bending and twisting movements are required.
• Receiving and organizing supplier orders as they arrive
