The Position

The Bradford Exchange is looking to hire full-time permanent Cross Trained Customer Service Representatives to work remotely for our inbound call centre.

The successful candidates will first be trained in our collectibles department and then will be cross trained in another department.

We are currently hiring for a start date of January 20, 2023. The successful candidate would need to be available for three-hour training period on Friday January 20, 2023, and full-time training would start Monday January 23, 2023.

The hours of work can include days, evenings, and weekends.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • 90% Answering calls– assist customers with questions concerning their order and order status, billing, retain customer business, upselling and returns.
  • 10% Completing required paperwork including faxes and written inquiries received from customers and other duties as assigned/required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of call center experience
  • 1+ years of phone sales experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • English Proficiency
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Great active listening skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills
  • A patient and empathetic attitude
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility – must commit to a shift bucket
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable in a scheduled environment and adhering to a strict schedule
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of PC Fundamentals and ability to navigate multiple computer programs
  • Proven experience in customer service and sales
  • Comfortable in a metric driven environment with daily, weekly, and monthly goals to achieve
  • Ability to type minimum 25 WPM
